The modules, which incorporate advanced monolith designs and liquid micropiston technology, are designed to accept vaginal and nasopharyngeal swabs and rapidly process the swabs to yield genomic material suitable for subsequent analysis by a variety of molecular diagnostics methods and by next-generation sequencing.
